Texas Roadhouse will open a new restaurant in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, on April 6, the company confirmed, landing close to a nearby Costco warehouse.
The Mount Juliet location will occupy 7,300 square feet and offer both dining and to-go service, and it will employ 205 people at the new restaurant.
The restaurant company said hours will include dinner Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
The chain confirmed it opened 30 new spots in 2025 and plans to open roughly 35 new restaurants by the end of the year, and it will also expand other brands under the parent company including Bubba’s 33 and Jaggers.
CEO Jerry Morgan said last year that Texas Roadhouse would expand consistently, noting the company’s focus on strong first impressions and that it can open about 25 to 30 restaurants on a normal basis, the CEO commented.
Texas Roadhouse has recently converted sites and opened locations in New Jersey, including a restaurant in a former TGI Fridays in Marlton, a Burlington County opening on February 2, and a location that opened on Monday, February 16 after months of diner excitement.
Costco Frozen Option Mirrors Popular Appetizer
Fans of the chain’s Rattlesnake Bites can find a frozen alternative at Costco in the Feel Good Foods Crispy Jalapeño Bites, which the report says comes close to the Roadhouse starter.
The Feel Good Foods product is filled with diced jalapeños, white cheddar, and cream cheese, and sells for about $14 for a 2-pound bag at Costco, the coverage reports.
Compared with Texas Roadhouse’s Rattlesnake Bites, which cost about 10 for $8.49 depending on location, the Costco bites are larger and more ovular while the restaurant version is described as small and round.
Shopper reviews describe the Costco bites as crunchy on the outside and creamy inside, sometimes spicier than the restaurant version, and suitable for pairing with ranch or sour cream; the frozen option is also gluten-free.
