Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is set to launch for iOS and Android on March 24, Square Enix announced, as reported by William D'Angelo and by TechRaptor.

The game assembles warriors from across the Final Fantasy series in modern day Tokyo and stages three versus three team battles where rival teams race to defeat a powerful boss first, William D'Angelo reported.

Players select characters such as Warrior of Light, Cloud, Lightning, Zidane, and Prompto and assign roles labeled Melee, Ranged, Agile, or Support, according to the promotional descriptions cited by William D'Angelo.

Combat emphasizes acquiring and using abilities in real time, with loadout customization that includes newly drawn illustrations from multiple artists, and controls that can be changed to suit play style, William D'Angelo said.

Monetization Pre Registration And Audio Content

The title will be free to play and uses gacha mechanics to acquire characters, TechRaptor reported, noting players are not required to spend money though spending increases odds in draws.

Square Enix and NHN PlayArt Corp are listed as developer and publisher entities in one report, which also referenced platform availability for Android and iOS, TechRaptor noted.

The game's official pre registration announcement details a login bonus and exchange mechanics, offering MogPay Points, Ability Draw entries, Ability Tickets, and Character Tickets, which can be combined to select featured characters.

The pre registration material also lists in game BGM tracks drawn from past Dissidia releases, and it explains that some rewards may be redistributed later and that specifics will be disclosed at launch.

The official page describes story presentation with full Japanese voice acting, cel shaded graphics, and chat messenger episodes that depict character daily life and interactions, as reported by William D'Angelo.

Players can expect customization features including original and casual outfits, profile editing, chat functions, and a community focus that highlights music collection and social play, according to the promotional information.
