Coachella will host Gap as the festival’s exclusive clothing sponsor and official merch partner, with the retailer opening a Hoodie House activation on the grounds for both general admission and VIP ticketholders.
The on site space will operate as a hybrid retail hub and lounge, offering exclusive product drops, customization stations, shaded seating, and daily new design releases, as reported by festival coverage.
At the center of the partnership is a limited edition Gap x Coachella hoodie priced at $100, described in one account as made in heavyweight fleece and French terry and available in a monochrome palette of black, navy and heather grey.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported an alternative description, calling the festival exclusive a $100 grey hoodie that features COACHELLA lettering across the chest and sun and cactus decals on the sleeves, with on site customization available for an additional $10.
Customization options will include patches, hoodie drawstring bead sets and collectible bag charms, and attendees can add new designs released each day, the coverage said, while Gap will also stage interactive elements such as a claw machine offering prizes, including potential VIP upgrades.
Gap will integrate its Encore loyalty program into the activation, giving Encore members and credit card holders access to reserve express entry to Hoodie House ahead of the festival, the reports noted.
Ticket Delivery And Resale Context For Festivalgoers
Although official Coachella tickets sold out on the festival website, resale inventory remains available on secondary marketplaces such as StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek and Ticketmaster, according to event coverage.
Festival wristbands typically follow a proximity based delivery system, which holds primary market wristbands and ships them in waves closer to the event for security and fraud prevention, the reporting explained.
Secondary marketplaces connect buyers with original purchasers and usually provide expected delivery dates, buyer guarantees and customer support to align with the festival distribution timeline, a ticketing guide noted.
Buyers concerned about timing can check the delivery window provided by the resale platform and contact customer service if problems arise, and some vendors offer guarantees such as a 100 percent buyer refund if passes do not arrive on time.
