Jordan Brand Introduces A Milwaukee Bucks Inspired Air Jordan 12 with the nickname Idols Become Rivals and a Summit White, Gorge Green and Fierce Purple colorway.
The design pairs a predominantly white leather upper with a reptile-textured Gorge Green mudguard and matching rubber outsole for classic AJ12 color blocking.
Iridescent eyelets and a lateral Jumpman TPU badge add an oil slick effect, while the carbon fiber support shank is rendered in Fierce Purple.
The Idols Become Rivals name appears linked to former Bucks sharpshooter Ray Allen, who the reports say looked up to Michael Jordan and later became a peer.
The pair faced one another in 12 games spanning tenures with the Bulls and Bucks, and extending to stints with the Wizards and Supersonics.
Release Details And Player Exclusive Context
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Bucks will release Sept. 19, 2026 on Nike’s SNKRS app, Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers.
Men’s versions are priced at $215 and the drop will include family sizing, carrying the style code CT8013-103 for retail pairs.
Early photos suggest the retail edition echoes a Ray Allen player exclusive first seen in 2004, a pair that became a collector favorite in earlier PE cycles.
Allen received numerous Air Jordan player exclusives later in his career with the Supersonics and Boston Celtics, and the retail Bucks colorway omits his custom heel lettering.
