Samsung is running limited time promotions on samsung.com and the Shop Samsung App that highlight trade in credits and bundle discounts across its Galaxy phones and accessories.
The company applies anticipated trade in value as a credit at purchase through the Samsung Trade In Program, provided the trade in device meets eligibility requirements.
Eligibility requires the trade in device to power on, hold a charge, not power off unexpectedly, and have a functioning display and case without breaks or cracks unless a cracked screen offer applies.
Devices must show no liquid damage, no defects beyond normal wear, not be blacklisted, have a verified FCC ID, be reset to factory settings, have personal information removed, and have software locks disabled.
Leased devices are not eligible, and participation does not excuse remaining carrier or retailer contracts for the traded device, with a one trade in limit per qualifying purchase.
Anticipated trade in credit is applied at checkout, but if the traded device is not sent within 15 days the purchaser will be charged back for the credit.
If the device is sent within 15 days but fails eligibility, Samsung will charge back the credit minus a stated processing amount.
Promotions include bundle pricing and automatic discounts for select Galaxy A models with Galaxy Buds or cases, and promotional discounts on select Galaxy S flagship models while supplies last on samsung.com and the Shop Samsung App.
Bundled promotional products must be returned with the qualifying smartphone if the phone is returned, the offers are non transferable, and they cannot be combined with other Samsung, carrier, or retailer promotions unless explicitly allowed.
Samsung also discloses Galaxy AI feature limits in promotional material, noting Galaxy Guide is AI powered and not human operated, and that AI outputs carry no guaranteed accuracy.
Some AI features require a Samsung Account and a network connection, and basic Galaxy AI features are free while future enhanced features may be offered for a fee.
Photo Assist may resize images and overlay a visible watermark on AI generated outputs, and availability of AI services varies by region, OS version, device model, and carrier.
Product Line And Software Background
The Galaxy brand covers a broad family of devices designed and sold by Samsung Electronics, including flagship S phones, foldable Z models, mid range A, M, and F series phones, Galaxy Tab tablets, Galaxy Watch smartwatches, and Galaxy Buds earbuds.
Galaxy devices ship with Samsung software layers, most recently One UI, which replaced Samsung Experience and earlier TouchWiz iterations, and include preloaded Samsung apps and services such as the Galaxy Store.
Samsung has expanded the Galaxy name to laptops and Chromebook devices and lists device model series with SM prefixes for current phones and tablets, and other legacy prefixes for older models.
Wikipedia reports the Galaxy smartphone family has sold more than three billion units and notes features that link devices, including Samsung Flow, Multi Control, and Device Control for cross device syncing and file sharing.
The encyclopedia entry also records concerns and claims, including reports that an Israeli founded AppCloud was quietly installed in some regions, and that bootloader unlocking options have been removed in recent One UI releases.
Samsung maintains a trademark ringtone called Over the Horizon that has evolved with each generation, and the company continues to update the Galaxy lineup and accompanying services across regions and carriers.
