Finn Wolfhard sought to needle his rival before the clash, saying he had trained Charizard almost every day and promising victory. The LEGO Group says the sets use SMART Play technology to respond to light, sound, motion and sensing without screens, and include more than twenty patented world firsts in the tech.
The company added that the sets are available from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores and select retailers in launch markets. Select LEGO Stores will also host SMART Play demos so visitors can see the playsets in action. The LEGO Group framed the campaign around training, bonding and imaginative play, positioning the celebrity battle as a way to spotlight the new interactive bricks for children.
