United has extended its suspension of nonstop Newark Liberty International Airport services to Dubai International Airport, keeping the UA164 and UA163 flights off the carrier's schedule.
The airline halted its Dubai operations after military action in the Middle East earlier in 2026 and initially said all United-operated departures to and from Dubai were cancelled until further notice.
United removed an earlier planned restart for October 24, 2026 and now shows the Newark–Dubai nonstop returning on March 27, 2027, according to current schedule information.
Passengers continue to see UA164 from Newark to Dubai and the return UA163 listed as cancelled for affected dates, while flights carrying United flight numbers may still appear because of codeshare arrangements.

The extended suspension affects travelers who booked flights during the October 24, 2026 to March 27, 2027 window and may qualify those customers for full refunds to their original payment method under United's reporting and refund guidance.
