disney+ now offers French subscribers access to the L'Équipe sports channel as part of their existing subscription, Disney said in a release.

The release noted this marks the first live channel included in a subscription for French Disney+ users, and it described L'Équipe as the leading sports channel in France.

Subscribers with access to L'Équipe can watch a range of major sporting events broadcast on the channel, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Biathlon World Cup and World Championships, and the European Table Tennis Union circuit.

In addition to event coverage, available programming includes some of the channel's live analysis shows, such as Équipe du Soir, L'Équipe de Greg, and L'Équipe de Choc, the release said.

Vincent Broussard, Managing Director of the TV division of the L'Équipe Group, welcomed the deal and described it as a new stage for the channel.

Broussard added the partnership aims to offer expertise recognized by all and to provide Disney+ subscribers with unmissable events, according to the statement quoted in the release.
