Leaks and hands on impressions suggest the iPhone Ultra will be a book style foldable with a 7.8 inch internal OLED and a roughly 5.5 inch external OLED, according to Mashable and CNET reporting. The phone is said to fold into a passport shaped device and appear wider and squatter than some rival foldables.
Design images and dummy units attributed to sources such as Unbox Therapy and Sonny Dickson align with earlier renders. Accessory listings from casemaker Benks have also appeared. Leakers including Instant Digital and Majin Bu have described a dual rear camera array, an internal and external selfie camera, and unconventional button placement reportedly on the top of the right frame.
Software hints surfaced in the iOS 27 developer beta. Researchers M1Astra and Sam Henri Gold found code strings related to a device that can be folded and that tracks angles, along with widget and split view changes that would suit a larger, unfolded display. Bloomberg reported similar findings and early reviewer impressions, noting Apple has prepared developer tools called Device Hub to simulate varied screen configurations.

Analysts expect the iPhone Ultra to carry a premium price. Ming Chi Kuo and other industry observers have forecast a retail range from roughly two thousand to two thousand five hundred dollars, and Bloomberg cited internal discussions of possible pricing north of that for high capacity models.
