Sam's Club unveiled its 2026 Member's Mark Thanksgiving meal as a ready to heat holiday option that it says feeds up to 16 people for roughly 160 dollars, working out to under 10 dollars per person based on the company's serving assumptions.

The company said the assortment includes a boneless carver ham and a hickory smoked turkey plus Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and a turkey gravy the team developed through multiple rounds of testing. The meal also comes with green beans with dried cranberries and almonds provided as two portions, two pans of macaroni and cheese, sweet corn with garlic butter, cranberry crunch salad, yeast dinner rolls, a charcuterie entertainment tray and two 12 inch pumpkin pies.

Sam's Club said the full set can be added to a member cart with one click starting October 28 and can be purchased in club, online or in the app for curbside pickup or delivery. The company offers express delivery as soon as one hour for an additional fee and the company noted the stated per person cost is pre tax and based on dividing the full assortment price by 16 and average product weights.

Ashley Peoples, senior director of product development at Sam's Club, said the package was designed to save members time. She said preparing every component from scratch would take an average household seven to nine hours according to the team's calculations. She added that preparing the bundled items in about two hours gives members more time with friends and family.

Testing Process And Member Feedback

The meal grew out of member surveys and a year of testing that aimed to increase protein and provide more leftovers. Peoples said the team heard requests for a gravy and an appetizer for pre meal grazing which led to the addition of the charcuterie tray and the development of a house gravy.

Sam's Club said 20 to 30 team members compared competitors' meals and followed typical home kitchen constraints while designing the cooking steps. The company said suppliers and the product development team refined the gravy through at least four iterations. Peoples recounted bringing nearly 100 members to Dallas for a tasting and said testers praised the gravy, comparing it to gravy made by their grandmothers and one member joked she wanted to drink it through a straw.

The testing prompted final tweaks to seasoning and spice levels and increases in portioning to generate more leftovers, the company said. Sam's Club also said each item meets its Made Without Commitment standard which removes more than 40 unwanted ingredients including artificial colors. Peoples said the project reflects a focus on value, quality and returning time to members.
