Oma's Pride has voluntarily recalled one lot of its Woof Complete Canine Chicken Recipe frozen raw dog food after an FDA-collected sample tested positive for Salmonella, the company said. The recall covers 639 six-pound bags from lot BB012729. Oma's Pride said the lot was manufactured on 1/27/2026 and bears a best-by date of 1/27/2029.
The FDA notice says the recalled product was distributed to retail, wholesale accounts and direct-to-consumer online orders shipped frozen. Distribution dates ran from 2/12/2026 through 5/15/2026. The impacted SKU is F-WOOFC-6, UPC 8 7938400145 9. Oma's Pride reported three illnesses in dogs linked to the lot and said no human illnesses have been reported to date.
Oma's Pride published the recall in coordination with the FDA and described the action as voluntary. The company said it is investigating the source and root cause of the contamination and that no other product sizes, lots or Oma's Pride lines are affected.
