At 12:08 pm Pacific Discord announced it was investigating errors preventing some users from connecting, and at 1:16 pm Pacific the company said it was seeing significant recovery while continuing to restore services.
The company followed at 1:19 pm Pacific by reiterating that it was beginning to see recovery and continuing operations to return the service to a fully healthy state.
The outage affected freshly launched sessions more than already open clients, the reporting publication said, adding that users booting the app may be unable to connect while those already connected might not notice the downtime.
